Pictures 2 Continued

Apparently blogger only lets me put a certain number of pictures into one post.

In the clothing district all you can see from the road are the street shops. Behind all of those are storefronts for more shops.

If there was a professional sleeping competition, the people of bangkok would win. This was one of the more conventional ways we saw people asleep.

And here is one of the more impressive.

The landscape is crisscrossed with rivers and canals. The skyline is shared by skyscrapers, and religious buildings. You can see a white Chedi in the background here.

A closer view of that Chedi.

Many of the locals, especially the kids are eager to practice their English.

Ronald shows me the proper respect by giving me a Wai (pronounced why). Its only polite for me to wai back.

Grand Palace in the background, seen from the kings field, a place for bus parking and night markets when there are not festivals going on.

Clint, Jennifer, Steve and I accidentally snuck into the National Museum after it was closed when we were looking for a place to play takrow. We asked a worker to take our picture when we realized where we were.
